Valerie Hannah

CEO, Distributed Energy Resources

As Chief Executive Officer in Brookfield’s Renewable Power Group, Valerie Hannah is responsible for leading and developing the Distributed Energy Resources business.

Ms. Hannah joined Brookfield in 2011, and since then has held a number of roles, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer of TerraForm Power, and prior to that, as the Chief Financial Officer for the Renewable Power Group’s North American business. Prior to joining Brookfield, Ms. Hannah held a senior finance role in a large Canadian public company.

Ms. Hannah holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University, a Graduate Diploma from McGill University and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants.
