Tom Deedy

Chief Operating Officer

Tom Deedy is Chief Operating Officer of Brookfield Renewable’s U.S. business, overseeing operations and construction for the U.S. Platform, spanning over 145 renewable power facilities. In this role, he manages health, safety, security and environmental matters, as well as project construction.

Mr. Deedy’s leadership has been critical in implementing Brookfield Renewable’s business unit in the U.S., contributing significantly to its rapid growth. Mr. Deedy joined Brookfield Renewable in 2009, previously serving as Senior Vice President of Operations. He brings more than 25 years of industry experience in generation, transmission, as well as mergers and acquisitions, project development, construction and marketing.

Mr. Deedy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
