Michael Tebbutt

Chief Financial Officer

Michael Tebbutt is Chief Financial Officer for Brookfield Renewable’s U.S. business, overseeing all finance activities for the U.S. Platform, including accounting, financial reporting, taxation, treasury, capital markets and risk management.

Mr. Tebbutt joined Brookfield Renewable U.S. as Chief Financial Officer in July 2020 following the completion of Brookfield Renewable’s merger with TerraForm Power, where he also served as CFO. Prior to TerraForm Power, Mr. Tebbutt has held senior positions at Brookfield, as Chief Financial Officer at Brookfield Properties in its U.S. retail business and Chief Financial Officer of Brookfield Infrastructure Asia Pacific’s operations. Prior to joining Brookfield in 2011, Mr. Tebbutt worked at accounting firm PwC in New York and Sydney.

Mr. Tebbutt holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and is a Chartered Accountant.
