Elizabeth Mayo

Vice President, Development

As a Vice President of Development in Brookfield’s Renewable Power Group’s Distributed Energy Resources business, Elizabeth Mayo is responsible for technical guidance in the development ofend-to-end behind-the-meter solutions.

Before joining Brookfield in 2020, Ms. Mayo was the Global Director of Solar Services at Underwriter’s Laboratory, managing the Solar Consulting Business, including due diligence, energy services and asset management. Prior to that, she was Head of Department at DNV GL, and she ran the operation of the PV Evolution Testing labs for modules, inverters and batteries.

Ms. Mayo holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science Education degree from Florida State University. She also received a Ph.D. in Chemistry from California Institute of Technology.
